Laura Adams, physics graduate student, will describe her participation in an NSF-sponsored workshop entitled “Forward to Professorship,” designed for women beginning their academic careers in science and engineering.

Susan Rani (Civil ’82, M.B.A. ’91), founder of Rani Engineering, which provides professional consulting services in transportation, water resources, and environment planning.

Sonia Fisher, IT graduate in computer science, is currently a senior software consultant. While a University student she was a founder of Alpha Sigma Kappa, a sorority for women in science and technology. She is active in helping women in technical careers and serves as a mentor for IT and NAFE.
