Welcome Week
Welcome Week is a six-day, on-campus experience prior to the start of the fall semester, required of all first-year students. This new program is designed to complement the Freshman Orientation experience, and provide opportunities to enhance academic and personal success for first-year students. If you are a freshman in the Class of 2012, you will receive more information about Welcome Week in the mail, as well as orientation and college specific information, in the coming months. Don't miss this great opportunity to network with professionals working in your future career area. The sign-up deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 30. 9/4/08 – Grand opening of SMART Learning Commons in Walter Library is Sept. 24 The grand opening of the SMART Learning Commons in Walter Library is 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 24 in Walter Library, Room 204. Institute of Technology students also are needed as peer learning consultants. 9/4/08 – American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota offers scholarships for IT students The American Council of Engineering Companies of Minnesota (ACEC/MN) is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2009-10 academic year.
