IDEAS scholarship

The IDEAS scholarship program accepts applications from students who are pursuing dual degrees in IT and CLA and who have already been admitted to both colleges. Applicants must have a strong academic record and have completed at least 80 credits by the end of spring semester of the year in which they apply.

IDEAS students agree to participate in interdisciplinary seminars and must register for a minimum of 15 credits per semester (exceptions will be made for graduating seniors who can verify that they need fewer than 13 credits per semester). The program offers scholarships of up to $2,000 per year to qualifying students.

Application forms are available online (pdf) or at IT Academic Advising, 130 Lind Hall (612-624-8504). Applications must be submitted to IT Student Services in 130 Lind Hall by April 15 at 4 p.m. Scholarship recipients receive notification of the award by August 1.
