Institute of Technology Dean Search

The IT Dean Search Committee is pleased to announce significant progress and the next phase in the search for a new dean of the Institute of Technology.  The committee has identified four finalist candidates and forwarded their names to Provost Tom Sullivan. Each candidate will visit the Institute of Technology for two days in mid-November through early December and will engage in a rigorous, 2-day public interview.

About the candidates

In the interest of preserving the rich pool of candidates through the conclusion of the search, Provost Sullivan has indicated that finalists names will be announced by email two days prior to each candidate's campus visit; copies of the candidate's curriculum vitae will be circulated. Please mark your calendar with the interview dates for the four finalist candidates, as follows:

Feedback

Provost Sullivan encourages all members of the IT community to participate in the interview process and to provide written feedback directly to him on this important hire. Candidate evaluation forms will be available at each meeting, or you may submit comments via email to provost@umn.edu. (You can also download the form in PDF format.) The Provost appreciates your efforts to submit feedback by December 8, 2004.

Please direct questions about logistical details to Leanne Wirkkula, staff to the Search Committee, at 612-625-0563 or wirkkula@umn.edu.

Thank you.
