Three Institute of Technology faculty receive U of M Distinguished
Teaching Awards
Three Institute of Technology faculty members have been named recipients
of the Distinguished Teaching Award, the University of Minnesota’s
most prestigious award for excellence in teaching. They will be
honored at the Distinguished Teaching Awards Ceremony from 3:30
to 6 p.m. Monday, April 23 at the McNamara Alumni Center, 200 Oak
Street S.E., Minneapolis.
Thomas
Hoye (chemistry) and Ned
Mohan (electrical and computer engineering) received a Morse-Alumni
Undergraduate Teaching Award for their outstanding contributions
to undergraduate education. Bruce
Wollenberg (electrical engineering and computer engineering)
received a Graduate-Professional Teaching Award for outstanding
contributions to post baccalaureate, graduate and professional education.
